Refuge of Hope
Description: The Refuge of Hope transitional house exists to see those who find themselves in life's tragic situations of homelessness, hopelessness and powerlessness due to addiction and abandonment to find power, deliverance, comfort and shelter that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
Providing a pathway that leads to self-sufficient and long term recovery through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

North Stand Housing Shelter
Description: (NSHS) is able to provide food, bath and bed for those seeking our services. We offer programs to give a holistic approach that will help meet spiritual, physical and emotional needs as we offer an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
Mission Statement: To train and equip leaders…in assisting the underserved (e.g., homeless, hungry and needy) in the most appropriate way. To find, secure and provide facilities to house the homeless. To educate those who lack the necessary knowledge to be productive citizens in society using all means available to include spiritual awareness. North Strand Housing Shelter is under the umbrella of Worldview Ministry International, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 organization formed on February 13, 2009.
Needs: Van drivers, phone operators, mentors/counselors, Bible study teachers.

New Directions Homeless Shelters
Description: New Directions operates 4 shelters along the Grand Strand to assist men, women, and families with emergency, non-emergency, long term, and transitional housing
Mission Statement: To train and equip leaders…in assisting the underserved (e.g., homeless, hungry and needy) in the most appropriate way.
New Directions exceeds the basic provisions of food and shelter by providing recovery classes, job readiness classes, permanent housing assistance, and long-term case management. Community members, churches, local government, and local businesses play a huge role in helping us provide services and resources to the homeless.
