Ministry is how we thrive at Journey. We strive to grow in our body, soul, and spirit through teaching, fellowship, recreation, and care.
At our services, you will likely encounter leaders who serve as volunteers in numerous areas:
- Children & Babies
- Praying / Altar
- Care Pastors
Outside of our Sunday and Wednesday services, we strive to keep in touch with our family through life's big events and day-to-day challenges, utilizing teams such as:
It takes many people to minister effectively with the love of Jesus! If you are interested in serving on a ministry team, or you are in need of assistance - such as visitation, counseling, or opportunities to connect, contact our Care Team Pastor Tony Martin at the link below.

Membership at Journey
Because we consider our church a family, we consider membership important, though perhaps not as formal as you might think.
Four times per year, we offer our JOIN THE JOURNEY class, which is a Sunday evening discussion and dinner with members of our pastoral team. Here you can learn more about the "how" we do things as well as the "why," and get your questions answered on a personal level.
Four times per year, we also hold our SALT COVENANT CEREMONY. This is how we welcome new members - and you don't have to attend the Join the Journey class to participate. "Taking salt" harkens to an old Jewish custom, and means that we are bound in relationship no matter where life takes us.
To learn more about either of these opportunities, visit our CONNECT table any Sunday, or contact our Assimilation team.
